Hi All,
I am a newby. I recently got this G5125 Electromatic to start me into my life as a Gretsch Player. It's awesome, got me hooked so I took the next step and got a G6118T Anniversary cuz i loved how it felt and that color is so cool.
Wanted to trade the Electromatic for my new Anniversary, but the store (like most) kills you on the trade. Really hoping someone is looking for a really good affordable starter Gretsch. I have only had it for about 2-3 months...played it to the point that I knew I wanted to make the investment in a the Anniversary, but it shows hardly any signs of wear. I just recently took of the plastic off the pickups @ pickguard.
It's got the DeArmond USA pickups and it has a B60 Bigsby. Sounds great. This is NOT the one out that costs about $600 and have the cheapy pickups. This one was $800 (MF & GC have them at $850) with the upgraded real-deal DeArmonds.
I'm just looking for a fair price and a buyer who will appreciate it...would be a great way to get a kid into a Gretsch w/o the $2k+ pricetag.
Asking $600 and will ship in original packaging at best way possible and actual cost. Will throw in a strap.
Please email me or message me (forum won't allow me to post my email address) if you are interested or know someone who is...hate to see this keep collecting dust, it's too nice for that.
Thanks - Cory |
